We analyzed data from BCD clients’ flight and rail bookings in 2024 to present these comprehensive rankings.
Top 10 APAC Business Travel Cities

Singapore dominates the top 10 city pairs for APAC flights, with five routes originating from the city-state. Notably, the Shanghai to San Francisco route moved up to the 10th spot for intercontinental travel, while three routes from Bengaluru (to Frankfurt, London, and Seattle) made the top 10.
Rail travel in China and Japan
Business travelers will be impressed by the extensive rail networks in China and Japan. Japan’s Shinkansen bullet trains are known for their reliability, speed, and comfort, making travel between major cities efficient and pleasant. China’s high-speed rail system offers extensive routes and economical fares, especially for medium-to-long distance journeys.
