New TripSource® risk alerts advise travelers about potentially risky situations that may have an impact on their trip, by pushing alerts to their phones.
Similar to flight alerts, TripSource risk alerts are one-way “warning” and “emergency” notifications that cover security, weather or transportation events that could disrupt travel. They’re pushed out only to travelers when a location in their itinerary is affected.
Other new TripSource features* include:
- Online check-in notifications for 26 airlines – Notifications are sent to travelers 24 hours in advance of departure and allow them to tap through and check in directly on a carrier’s website or app.
- Hotel booking made easier – Travelers can save their credit card information to the app for a convenient, secure booking experience.
