From machine learning to chatbots to mobile apps, established and emerging technologies can help ease end-to-end traveler journeys. Today at GovTravels 2020 in Alexandria, Va., BCD Travel Vice President of Digital & Product Strategy Will Pinnell will join other panelists in exploring how technology can be used to improve traveler experiences and, ultimately, bolster the success of managed travel programs.
Pinnell is part of the BCD team responsible for developing the award-winning TripSource® traveler platform. TripSource allows travelers to manage itineraries, self-book hotels and cars in some regions and get trip updates, relevant policy information and safety alerts anytime, anywhere.
Scheduled through Feb. 26 at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel in Alexandria, the 2020 NDTA-DTMO Annual GovTravels Symposium GovTravels is the only event of its kind to gather together government and travel industry professionals. Attendees typically work in in passenger travel and related services for the federal government, a state government, or the private sector. NDTA and the Defense Travel Management Office created the program with input from DTMO, the General Services Administration, and private sector stakeholders.
