Advito’s new global practice group, Demand and Behavior Management, rolls up total collaboration management and traveler engagement services, and also adds two angles: helping corporate travel programs get the most from tech tools they already use and curating new tools, Business Travel News reports.
“There are constantly new capabilities coming online, and I would actually suggest that most managed travel programs aren’t even using the capabilities they have today to manage demand and behavior in a sophisticated way,” Advito Managing Director April Bridgeman told BTN. Advito will “work with our customers to make sure that everything their travelers interact with is most effectively configured to drive the best decisions.”
The new practice also will sift through third-party tools as they’re released to the market, looking for technology that can support the kind of behavioral economics tactics that retailers use, explained Bridgeman, who’s also a senior vice president of Advito parent company BCD Travel. The goal is “to get travelers to make better purchasing decisions on their own behalf, but also on behalf of the company,” she said.
